For over a hundred years Biagio Barile has been synonymous with intarsia, a technique dating from the 7th century, using different coloured woods to create inlaid mosaic-like patterns. Based in Sorrento, the company is run by Biagio, the founder’s grandson, and his great-grandson, Enzo.
Daring colour combinations and unusual patterns are combined in masterfully crafted pieces intended for everyday use. These eye-catching designs have resulted in collaborations with several luxury brands including Gucci and Christian Dior.
